So helpful, really glad I found them!

I was really struggling to find an affordable addiction treatment option for my brother, and then I found Detox.com! The free helpline was amazing, they answered all my questions and were so kind. They even helped me look into scholarship programs and payment plans. We found a great low cost rehab that fit his needs. This service was such a lifesaver, I would recommend them to anyone needing help!

Got me what I needed

I was looking for an Alcohol Detox program and came across Detox.com. Filled out their form for a free assessment. Someone called me back pretty quick. They helped me figure out what my insurance would cover. It was all pretty straightforward. Ended up finding a good place for medically supervised withdrawal. It worked out fine.

Consistent support every time

This isn't my first time using Detox.com. I've had to help a couple of friends and family members over the years, and they've always been reliable. This time, I was looking into options for Medication Assisted Treatment. Just like before, the process was clear. They helped confirm that Medicare coverage applied to the centers they suggested. It's good to know I can count on them for good information and accurate referrals. They've always delivered on what they promised, which is important for something so serious.

Helpful, but a few delays

I used Detox.com to find an Inpatient Detox program for a family member. The initial free assessment was thorough, and the representative was very understanding. They walked me through the insurance verification process, which took about three days, a little longer than I expected. They connected us to a facility that accepted our private insurance detox. The facility itself was great, but the referral process had a few communication gaps between Detox.com and the center, which I had to help bridge. Overall, it was a good experience, but I wish the handoff had been smoother. The quality of the information and the ultimate placement was excellent, though.

Good resources, some minor hiccups

I reached out to Detox.com for a Dual Diagnosis Treatment program. The initial consultation was very informative and the person I spoke with was knowledgeable about different types of programs. They helped me understand the differences between inpatient and outpatient detox, which was useful. I appreciated that they focused on finding a center near me that accepted my insurance. The only small issue was getting a callback after the initial conversation; I had to follow up myself to get the referral details. Everything else was handled well, and I found a suitable Residential Treatment program in the end. The value they provide in navigating these options is definitely there.

are cell phones allowed if you go to one of the detox programs they find? or do they make you give it up?

J Jacob Parker 1 month ago
Most places will have you turn it in, especially for inpatient. It's to help you focus on recovery. Some might let you have it during specific times though, or keep it locked up for emergencies.

Mine made me check it in. It was a drag at first but honestly, it was good to disconnect. They usually have phones for emergencies or family calls.

i'm in phoenix, arizona. roughly how long would it take to actually get into a program if i used this site? trying to plan ahead a bit.

A Adam Sanchez 4 days ago
It really depends on the center and how busy they are, but detox.com can usually get you connected pretty fast, like same day sometimes for the initial call. Getting admitted usually takes a day or two after that for insurance stuff.

For Phoenix, I'd say it's pretty quick. The intake people usually work fast, especially for detox. Could be in a center within 24-48 hours depending on availability.

hey, trying to figure out how legit this whole detox.com thing is. like, are they a real deal or just some random site?

J Josh Moore 1 week ago
Yeah, they're legit. Used them to find a place for my brother last year. They hook you up with actual centers, not just some fake directory.

O Olivia Allen 1 week ago
Totally. I was skeptical too but they don't charge you for the referral service, so that eased my mind a bit. And the centers they suggest are usually pretty well-known.

i saw some stuff about sliding scale fees. is that something you can ask for through detox.com, or is it directly with the center?

O Olivia G. 4 weeks ago
Detox.com can help you find centers that offer sliding scale fees. It's a question you'd ask them during the initial assessment, and then the center itself handles the actual fee structure.

They connect you to places that have those options. So you tell detox.com what you need, and they'll try to match you up. The actual details for the sliding scale would be with the treatment center.

thinking about getting help but worried about losing my job. can you actually keep working while in detox, or is that not a thing?

J Justin Anderson 4 days ago
It depends if you do inpatient or outpatient. Outpatient detox would let you keep working, but inpatient usually means taking time off. They should explain the differences.

D Danielle Martin 3 days ago
If you do an outpatient program, you might be able to. Inpatient is usually 24/7 so probably not. The people on the helpline can tell you more about the options.
